Using data to improve sustainability
You don’t know what you don’t know. Sound bonkers, but it’s also true.
The world of environmental management demands that we measure, monitor and improve what we do. Without accurate data, we can’t do any of this. Without accurate data, we don’t know what we don’t know.
And it’s not just measuring the usual suspects of energy, water and waste. We can collect data from all areas of our businesses to improve our impacts and find areas for improvement.
Paul Clarke of Figuring Out Data is our expert speaker for the next GBN seminar. He will be giving us the lowdown on how you can improve your environmental performance by:
- Building belief in your data
Turn any worries you might have about the state of your data into excitement about its potential for transforming your business.
- Organising your data
How to clean and connect different data sources together to get it into ideal shape for the business transformation task ahead.
- Communicating with data
Using data to unearth answers to critical questions about the business and turn them into compelling stories and arresting infographics that will shape opinion and sway decisions.
We will start with a formal presentation from Paul, which will be followed by a question and answer session and a group discussion.
The seminar is free to GBN members. Non-members are welcome to attend at a cost of £35 +VAT.
Thanks to Energise for partnering with us to provide this seminar.
