There’s been a lot of talk about Net Zero Carbon, Carbon Neutrality, Carbon reduction and Carbon Footprinting in the news. If you are confused about what this means, don’t know where to start, or if you have started and need help to continue, we have an event that will help.
National and local government, large businesses and public bodies are increasingly looking to work with companies who have Net Zero Carbon Plans in place. They are asking for evidence of reduction and of the systems that support this. Members of the public are also starting to look to buy goods and services from companies who can show that they are genuinely combating climate change.
Our event will help you to start your Net Zero Carbon journey by helping you to understand the approach, understand where you are now, plan to improve, implement the plan and report on it. Expert speakers will:
· explain all the technical terms and what they mean
· provide an introduction to Net Zero Carbon Planning and your Carbon Footprint
· introduce the Standards relating to these areas and how to implement them.
Workshop to get you started
Make a start on your carbon reduction planning using tried and tested methods at our workshop. You will learn from other companies by sharing best practice and ideas. Our team of facilitators will also be on hand to offer advice and guidance to get you started. We will also be around for you to chat to throughout the event.
You can attend free if you’re a Green Business Network member, Green Connector or a Central Beds-based business. Others are very welcome to attend at a cost of £40 per delegate.
