Energise launches net zero club

Energise Consulting

GBN member company Energise Consulting has just launched an ambitious mission – to be the catalyst for 1% of the UK to go net zero carbon by 2025. Part of this will be realised by expanding its offering to SMEs in the form its innovative Net Zero Club.

The company aims to do this by working with businesses to help reduce energy and lower their environmental impact. Energise has always worked with large corporations, but the Net Zero Club for SMEs enables smaller companies to follow a logical pathway to net zero carbon emissions. The company will follow this up later on this year with Zero Hero – a personal education platform for individuals and employees.

Managing Director Simon Alsbury says: “Our passion has always been about working with organisations to reduce their environmental impact. When our kids (or grandkids) are grown up and ask us what we did to protect the planet, we want to be able to reply: ‘We did everything we could’. That’s why we don’t just help our clients to tick boxes. We go all in to help them connect with their own ‘Why’ for reducing their carbon footprint and walk hand in hand with them on the journey towards net zero carbon. What we do is not just a job; it’s a commitment to a more sustainable way of living. Opening up our services to SMEs and individuals is a natural progression of our work.”

Alongside the measures Energise is taking, it also plans to spearhead a transformation in the energy industry to help ensure clients have access to services which best support them in going net zero.
