Green Business Network (GBN) helps businesses reduce their impact on the environment. It came into existence in 1998 as an independent charity and in 2024 Cranfield University took over the management of the network.

Building on the long heritage of the Green Business Network, we are thrilled to announce the relaunch of the network under Cranfield University’s stewardship.  At Cranfield, sustainability has been an integral part of the University in terms of research and education.  We are delighted to become the new home for the Green Business Network, which aims to foster a collaborative environment among businesses to promote and implement sustainable practices.

GBN brings together like-minded businesses and is part of our ongoing commitment to fostering a sustainable future through collaborative business practices. Through the network member businesses may help each other reduce energy and water consumption, eliminate waste, design products more sustainably, increase biodiversity, manage impact, gain an understanding of connected legal obligations, and put environmental issues at the heart of the business decision-making.
